DP William Ruto Removed From Government List! See Details

“He came and made a claim of the assets and made the required payments. We do have any unclaimed assets under his name,” Munya stated.

“When anyone claims the assets, their name is definitely removed from our list as we have nothing belonging to them,” he added.

The law requires companies to hand over to the State different categories of idle assets whose owners have not claimed for up to five years.

In the past, idle assets belonging to prominent people, including the families of former Presidents Daniel Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki, the father of former US President Barack Obama and the late Interior CS Joseph Nkaisserry, have been surrendered to the State.

In August, UFAA stated that Kibaki’s family had lodged a claim, but the name of former First Lady the late Lucy Kibaki remained in the list.
