A KTN editor who was arrested in connection with the theft of Joy Doreen Biira’s Mercedes Benz has made interesting claims regarding the incident.
Aaron Ochieng, who was on Tuesday arraigned in court over the matter, claimed that they planned the theft of the Sh2.8 Million vehicle with Biira for personal benefits.
Ochieng, in his report to the police, claimed that the two were to report the vehicle as missing and later sell it once the situation calmed down.
The editor admitted to driving the vehicle out of the Standard Group (SG) parking yard but alleged to have been given they keys by the news anchor with an assurance that he wouldn’t be stopped at the gate.
“With the assurance, I drove the vehicle out of the parking yard and true to her words I was not stopped,” he stated.
