Kenyan woman Jeddihah stranded in DubaiShe cannot even fend for herself. Jeddidah, who was married to Keith Walumbe but later broke up has narrated her tearjerking story that has gone viral.

Here is her story, go through

I’M A KENYAN LADY 28 YEARS OLD AND CURRENTLY SEPARATED FROM MY HUSBAND FOR THE LAST 7 MONTHS DUE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND INFIDELITY, WHICH BROUGHT ME TO UAE TO SEEK EMPLOYMENT TO CATER FOR MY UNBORN BABY AS I WAS 4 MONTHS PREGNANT WHEN WE SEPARATED. I DIDN’T MANAGE TO GET A JOB HERE SINCE I CAME WITH A ONE-MONTH TOURIST VISA AND I KEPT THINKING THERE IS NO WAY I’M GOING BACK HOME SINCE I HAVE NO HOME TO GO TO.

I WAS BROUGHT UP BY MY GRANDMA WHO IS OLD AND AILING AND GOING BACK TO THE VILLAGE, WITH THE PREGNANCY WOULD BE AN EXTRA BURDEN FOR HER SINCE SHE WAS DEPENDENT ON ME WHILE I WAS MARRIED.

I  APPLIED FOR NANNY JOBS ON UAE SOCIAL MEDIA SITES SO AS TO TAKE CARE OF MY BABY. I HAVE WRITTEN TO CHARITIES BUT NO ONE HAS COME THROUGH… I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT COMMITTING SUICIDE BECAUSE I’M NOTHING AND NOTHING IS WORKING FOR ME. I DON’T WANT MY DAUGHTER TO ALSO SUFFER LIKE I HAVE SUFFERED IN THIS LIFE…NOW THE HOSPITAL WON’T ISSUE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR MY DAUGHTER AND THE POLICE ARE INSISTING I PAY THE BILL .. I REALLY WANT TO GO BACK HOME I DON’T CARE IF IN KENYA I WILL SLEEP IN THE STREETS, I WOULD RATHER DIE THERE. MY CASE CAN BE CONFIRMED BY THE CONSULATE.

FOR MONTHS, I COULDN’T APPLY FOR ANY JOB NO MORE AS I WAS HEAVILY PREGNANT AND ALSO MY BODY WAS TIRED, I ALSO HAD SWOLLEN FEET AND WAS LATER DIAGNOSED WITH GESTATIONAL HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. I NEVER GOT TO ATTEND ANY ANTENATAL CLINIC OVER HERE SINCE I COULDN’T AFFORD…SO WHEN I WAS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT, I WENT TO THE IMMIGRATION AT AL AWEER AND PRESENTED MY CASE TO THEM BUT THEY TOLD ME THAT, I SHOULD GO BACK AND GIVE BIRTH WHENEVER…

THEY DIDN’T CARE AND SINCE I DIDN’T HAVE A PLACE TO STAY, I WALKED TO DUBAI FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHICH IS ABOUT 150 METRES FROM THE IMMIGRATION AND EXPLAINED TO A LADY I MET THERE MY SITUATION. IT WAS ALREADY 10:30 PM. I DIDN’T HAVE ANY MONEY SINCE I USED TO LIVE ON THE MERCIES OF PEOPLE. I WOULD GO FOR DAYS WITHOUT EATING AND JUST SLEEP ON THE BENCHES OUTSIDE THE MALL OF EMIRATES. DFWC BOOKED FOR ME A HOTEL IN DEIRA, J5 HOTEL TO SLEEP IN THAT NIGHT OF 17/7/17. I HAD TO VACATE THE FOLLOWING DAY BY MIDDAY. SO I LEFT AND WENT TO DEIRA CITY CENTRE METRO STATION AND SAT THERE. MY BODY WAS REALLY TIRED OF A VERY BAD HEADACHE AND I COULDN’T MOVE SINCE MY FEET WERE SO SWOLLEN..

I HAD CRIED SO MUCH SO MOST PEOPLE WONDERED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME. UNTIL ONE GENTLEMAN BY THE NAME AHMED CAME AND ASKED ME WHAT WAS WRONG. I EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO HIM AND HE TOOK ME TO DUBAI HOSPITAL AND LEFT ME THERE. I WENT IN AND EXPLAINED TO ONE LADY DOCTOR WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH BUT I CLEARLY TOLD HER I DON’T EVEN HAVE A SINGLE DIRHAM WITH ME. SO THEY CHECKED ME UP AND FOUND MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS WAY HIGH, THEY QUICKLY TRIED TO NORMALIZE IT AND I WAS PUT UNDER OBSERVATION FOR 2 HOURS.
