They went to Capitol Hill where they announced deadly demos on January 4th to compel the President not to sign the amendment into law.
But sharing his views on Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto, through Leader of Majority in Parliament, Aden Duale, said the amendments will be signed into law despite protests from the opposition.
“They can go to the elections as a team or they can go as individuals.”
“The elections will go on, “said Duale.
