NTV journalist Larry Madowo on Tuesday night opened a Pandora’s Box after he posted images of a nude statue during his ongoing tour in Sweden, Stockholm.
The image of the female statue was palatable for a section of the public, but his caption was what seemed to disturb many.
Madowo, who photographed the graven image from behind asked: ‘Nani anataka kuona mbele?’ ( Who wants to see the front part?)
The corny caption led to an online uproar with many lambasting him for what they termed as indecency.
Madowo, who has been boldly unconcerned with the public’s comments, was bashed for the contentious remarks considering he was a public figure who some look up to.
The NTV reporter, however, seemed unmoved by the online outrage and those who claimed he was their role model.
“I hear that I’m no longer a role model because I posted this fun picture with a statue outside the Stockholm City Hall. I’m surprised by that.
